St. Michael’s College has an active unit of this federation. The volunteers organise various programmes frequently in the campus.
The AICUF and NSS units of the College jointly organized a social awareness programme entitled “Monsoon Diseases – Prevention and Cure” on 17th July 2014. It was an endeavor from this educational institution to use its resources and organizational influence for the sake of community development. AICUF convener, Asst.Prof. Liya Jose welcomed the gathering. The Principal Dr V Mathew inaugurated the seminar and Asso. Prof. Anie Jose (HoD, Department of Zoology) delivered the felicitation message. Dr. Paul Thomas (Asso, Professor, Govt. Ayurveda College, Tripunithura) and Dr Sreenikesh (Medical Officer, Govt. Ayurveda College, Tripunithura) led the session. About 50 students participated in the interaction session. The NSS programme officer Asst.Prof. Dr. Dhwajam gave away the vote of thanks and the meeting dispersed at 12.30 pm.
AICUF and Jesus Youth of Cherthala together organized one day programme entitled ‘COME AND SEE’ at College Auditorium on 30th Aug 2014, Saturday from 9.30 am to 4 pm .
Manager Rev.Fr Solomon Charangatt inaugurated the function. Principal Dr.Mathew V gave away the presedential address.The programme coordinator Christin Jacob of 3rd Physics gave the welcome speech. Ms Liya of Chemistry gave the vote of thanks.
