National Service Scheme (NSS) of St.Michael’s aims at promoting social consciousness, a sense of responsibility, and a sense of discipline and dignity of labour among our college students. The scheme utilises the leisure time of students for two years of their college studies, in various item of social service, which not only helps the community, but also provides an opportunity to the students to understand the conditions prevalent in the community. The ultimate aim is to develop the personality of students through community service.

The efforts of NSS volunteers have been widely acclaimed by the community and the general public as the NSS volunteers have been rendering selfless service to the community. The Present Programme Officers of the Scheme are Sri. Pratheesh P., Asst. Professor in History and Dr. Dhwajam D.B., Assistant Professor in Physics.
